Immigration Lawyer

Kimberly Sherwin

I love the Statue of Liberty and what it represents regarding freedom and hope for a better future. I am a passionate advocate for immigrants as well as a devoted mother and wife. My journey as an immigration attorney has been fueled by a deep-seated commitment to empowering families as they navigate the complexities of the legal system. I lived in South America for 18 months as a Christian missionary where I learned to speak Spanish and fell in love with the Latin cultures. I am in awe of the sacrifices that you and your family have made in order to improve your lives. I am aware of what you gave up, what you left behind, and the challenges you face here in the U.S. I know that you simply desire a better life and future for your family. With years of experience, I proudly serve clients throughout the world and want to help you achieve your American Dream. I can’t wait to meet you!

Professional Experience

I have been practicing immigration law for 15 years. I earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and then in 2010 I obtained my Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law.  I am a respected member of the Utah State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). I enjoy volunteering at local legal clinics and donating my time and knowledge to helping people with immigration questions.  The reason I went to law school to was to help immigrants navigate the complicated system of U.S. immigration and to help keep families together.  I’ve helped countless clients navigate tricky immigration issues, advocating fiercely for their rights and ensuring their voices are heard. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, recognizing that behind every case is a family with hopes and dreams for a better future.
